Congratulations go to Kim Pillar, skipper of SV ‘Live Wire’ from PCYC, whose name was drawn during the evening festivities at Port Dalhousie YC on Saturday, September 15th. Over the course of the 2018 racing season, Kim completed the required number of LOSHRS races to be eligible for this special draw. Evolution Sailmakers Toronto and Access Abilities teamed up this year to sponsor the Sail Draw and Mr. Pillar will be presented with a gift certificate for $5000.00 to use agai


Final LOSHRS Weekend!
Despite the light winds on Saturday and the thick fog on Sunday morning, the final LOSHRS races of the season were completed this past weekend. Saturday proved to be a strategic race where those that chose the more western route had more favourable outcomes than those who went east. Sunday, dense fog forced a 30-minute start delay, but it cleared and a very slow start turned into a beautiful straight run to PCYC! Check out all the results here: Race Results


Yes, it’s September. But we’re not done yet!
The days are getting shorter, but don’t despair, racing isn’t over yet. We still have the LOSHRS Port Dalhousie race weekend. This includes race # 5 on Saturday, September 15th from PCYC to Port Dalhousie, and race #6, on Sunday, September 16th which is a race back to PCYC.
