Registration Update

The LOOR committee met last week to make some difficult decisions. As always, the health and safety of our race committee, partners, racers, and family is our top priority. The committee has been closely monitoring the Regional public health measures and has been in touch with our Yacht Club Ambassadors to be kept apprised of the situation in our racers’ clubs. We are now announcing the following modifications to our race season:
The Susan Hood Trophy Race
RESCHEDULED TO JULY 30th
75 NM Overnight Race : First Warning May have to be as 1230 EDT, Friday, July 30, 2021 in order to comply with COVID-19 restrictions. The exact details will depend on the regulations at that time, number of registered sailboats and competitors. The schedule will be posted as soon as possible during the week before the event .

Registration Open & Early Bird Registration extended to July 06, 2021
Lake Ontario Short-Handed Racing Series
RESCHEDULED TO AUGUST 01st
16 NM Course Race : First Warning @ 1125 EDT
40 boats registered.
Registration Open & Early Bird Registration extended to May 25, 2021
We continue to plan for some sort of normal events for the LO300/600 and Races 2-6 of LOSHRS.
We are monitoring the latest updates from Health Canada and Ontario Public Health regarding the regional COVID-19 situation and rea committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe and healthy environment for all LOOR participants
