Race Committee Volunteers needed for weekend of Friday May 31st to Sunday June 2nd for Lake Ontario Offshore Racing (LOOR) events as follows:
Friday, May 31st – Start of the Susan Hood Trophy Race (SHTR)
Hours: 1730 to 2100 on water at PCYC
Needed: Volunteers for Race Committee Signal Boat & Mark Boat
Saturday, June 1st - Finish of SHTR
Hours: 0600 – 1800 in four (4) shifts on shore
Needed: Onshore finishers/recorders for SHTR
Sunday, June 2nd – Start of LOSHRS Race 1
Hours: 0930 – 1200 on water
Needed: Volunteers for Race Committee Signal Boat for Start
Sunday, June 2nd – Start of LOSHRS Race 1
Hours: 1200 – 1900 on water
Needed: Volunteers for Race Committee Signal Boat for Finish
Volunteers who can only help with the start of the LOSHRS race, can be dropped off after the start
No experience needed as all necessary instructions and training are provided.
Please pass along to others who might be interested in helping or post at your club.
High school students needing community service credits will receive that for from LOOR.
